Slack Integration

Route agent activity notifications to Slack channels. Waxell posts a summary when agents complete runs, hit governance blocks, or trigger alerts.

Setup

1. Navigate to Connect > Channels > Add Channel
2. Select Slack and click Connect
3. Authorize Waxell in the Slack OAuth flow
4. Pick the channel(s) to receive notifications
5. Configure which event types trigger messages

Event types

Event	Default	Description
Agent run completed	On	Summary of what the agent did
Governance block	On	A policy prevented an agent action
Error	On	Agent encountered an unrecoverable error
Cost threshold	Off	Spend crossed a configured dollar amount
New agent detected	Off	A previously-unseen agent appeared

Message format

Each Slack message includes:

• Agent name and user
• Duration and token count
• Cost (if tracked)
• Link back to the full trace in the Waxell dashboard
